About Me

I began my journey as a healing practitioner in February of 2008, when I attended a Reiki Level I training, in St. Thomas, VI, where I lived for 15 years. I had been interested in studying Reiki for several years, but it never quite aligned until then. My life was forever changed  when I took this training, with my 8-year-old daughter beside me. I thought to myself I should have done this a long time ago. I now know that everything happens in Divine time when the time is right. I found healing was my life’s passion and never expected to study with so many gifted healers and teachers over the years.  After an immersive two-year study and reaching Reiki Master/Teacher level, I studied Reflexology with Dwight Byers at the International Institute of Reflexology in St. Petersburg, Florida. Dwight’s credentials were impressive – his aunt was Eunice Ingham, the Mother of Reflexology. 
 

Once certified in these two unique modalities, I began to see clients privately and in a spa setting, and shortly after that, opened my own practice.

Over the next several years, I continued to expand my knowledge and practice of self-healing and the healing of others studying with a core group of practitioners and teachers that travel the world with St Thomas as a pilgrimage stop. I’ve taken classes and workshops, including Akashic Record Reading, Pranic Healing, 12 Rays of Archlight, Oneness Blessing (Deeksha), Raindrop Technique, and Children’s yoga. I also had the opportunity for distant learning with Sound Therapy using tuning forks. 

 

Intrigued with Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) study, I, along with other healers in the community, advocated for renowned BCST teacher Roger Gilchrist to travel to the island. Unfortunately, the timing was off.   However, in 2017, I returned to New York and finally had the opportunity to study with Roger Gilchrist. The eight-year wait was well worth it as I once again realized the importance of divine timing!

In 2022, I have had the amazing opportunity to study and become certified as a Sound Healer with the International Academy of Sound Healing.

I am also an avid crystal collector, taking every opportunity to make crystal grids and find that next beautiful “buzzy” stone to add to my collection!

 I have three beautiful adult daughters; the youngest is a Reiki Master, and the middle is currently a Reiki Level II practitioner working towards the next level.
